There’s a new man of the house. Ben Affleck has been outnumbered by his wife, Jennifer Garner, and two daughters, but now he has a son to help even the score. Garner gave birth to the couple’s  baby boy in Santa Monica last month.

“We are happy to announce on February 27, Jennifer gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Samuel Garner Affleck,” the proud father wrote on his Facebook page.

Although the couple announced their pregnancy last August, they were much more discreet about the sex of the baby. Garner noted that it would be “so weird to have a boy,” during an interview on the Ellen Degeneres Show, but also said that it would be “cool and different.”

Garner and Affleck have been married since 2005.
