Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg just tied the knot with his girlfriend of nine years Pricilla Chan. The couple met at Harvard.  Wedding guests at the backyard ceremony in Palos Alto were treated to a surprise wedding while attending what they thought was a graduation celebration for Pricilla.

Pricilla received her doctorate from University of California San Francisco on Mark Zuckerberg’s birthday.

The newly wed couple updated their status to “married” on their Facebook pages along with this photo.

What a week for Mark – he turned 28 earlier in the week on May 14. (He was born in 1984) Facebook’s IPO was just completed on May 17^th. Facebook Inc priced its initial public offering at $38 a share, making the world’s biggest online social network a $104 billion valuation the third largest initial public offering in U.S. history.
