This is one annoying habit most men have, it does give mixed signals you can either play him at his own game or just accept the fact that he believes in communicating in person.
Too many messages can make you seem unsecured and needy. You need to give him a breathing space.

If you trust him then don’t read too much into it is likely that he might be busy, if you don’t then you have every right to be paranoid. I will say dump him before he does!

If the message was for your ex then the message is very clear the relationship is sooo over! Just move on!

My advice would be if you really truely believe he’s just stubborn is to text him? You don’t necessarily have to apologize just tell him you would like to discuss what happened. Explain to him that by him avoiding you it’s giving you mixed signals on your relationship and you really need answers. If he replies to your text and agrees to meet up with you then you can most likely wheel him back in, but on the other hand if he says he doesn’t think it would be a good idea. You should just move on because that tells me that when you all argue he finds other things to tend to and you should just read the signs and move on before he can further play with your emotions and waste your time.
